CEF South Plains
Child Evangelism Fellowship has been actively reaching children in Lubbock and surrounding counties for many years. We are thankful for our history and the lives of children impacted by the Gospel. Great things are happening today and the outreach is growing.
OUR MISSION
Share the Gospel with children, disciple them in the Word of God, and connect them to a local church.
Child Evangelism Fellowship® was founded in 1937 and has grown to become the largest outreach ministry to children in the world! The South Plains chapter was formed in 1970, reaching children through Bible clubs in the community. In 2001, a Supreme Court decision, granted CEF equal access to start after-school Bible clubs on campus for students with parental permission. The first Bible club on campus started in 2002. Fast-forward twenty years later and there are nearly 30 Good News Clubs in 6 school districts.
